The Ministry of Health has directed all Health officials to make a report on how they have spent the money in the allocated areas during every last quarter of the year.

The directive follows reports that Health personnel misappropriate funds for their selfish interest which contributed to the poor performance of the rural Health centres.

The state minister for Health Dr. Richard Nduhura, says the image of the ministry is being tarnished before the public for poor service devilry especially in the rural areas.

He says the district Health officials will have to ensure why procurement failed and what exactly has been spent on.
