The executive director, National information Technology authority Uganda (NITA-U) James Saka reveals that the country is soon launching her ICT back bone system/
According to Saka, the system to be launched in September is geared at creating a cheap and faster internet environment for the country as well as making internet services available to the local populace.
He adds that the system when launched will be connected to health units, schools, government ministries to help in the day to day running of business in those entities.
He says the government borrowed 100M US dollars which it invested in the project soon to be launched.
