The body of late Fr. John William Kaliba has been laid to rest at Virika diocese cemetery in fort portal municipality.

Fr. Kaliba a born of Mperre Village, Kiboha Parish, Mugusu Sub County in Kabarole District, has been working as a priest of Witch buck Parish in South Africa.

He passed away at 58 years. FR. Kaliba had served in South Africa for 17 years.

The fort portal diocese Bishop Robert Muhirwa, described the deceased as a committed and focused priest who was determined to help others.

The burial was attended by the Kabarole District Chairperson Richard Rwabuhinga and his Deputy Moses Ikagobya among other leaders.
