The Members of Parliament on the infrastructure committee have embarked on the fact finding tour of the lands ministry led by the committee chairperson who is also Kiboga west MP Samuel Semugaba.

The MPs are asking the ministry to give them a comprehensive report of establishment of the computerized system in the ministry.

The MPS have also asked the ministry officials to avail them all the land tittles allocated for the wetlands.

The members of parliament on their ongoing investigations also found out that many vital documents including land titles are missing in the record.

They are now calling for the urgent computerization of the entire documentation system in the ministry of Lands to ensure efficiency in data storage.

The ministry officials are expected to make a presentation to the members of parliament soon after the tour.
