Three Police constables James Kiiza, Yakubu Nkwirinze and Ronald Musisi have petitioned the high court seeking permission to sue on their own behalf and on behalf of 55 others the Attorney General seeking payment of their salary for services rendered to the Uganda Police Force during the recent general elections.

The trio says they have they have full instructions from the 55 Police constables who also have the same interest in the intended suit.

They claim that that the Attorney General is liable to pay them their salary for the said services but he has refused or failed or neglected to do so.
