Last Saturday a source from Leon Island told us that singer Jose Chameleon put a smile on a hawker’s face who sold him a fake silver watch at 400,000 shillings.

The flamboyant singer was passing near Nandos restaurant in Kampala and a hawker met him in the traffic jam when many people were watching. Chameleon when he saw the watch for fear of being laughed at when the hawker told him that it was original and cost 400,000 shillings he simply paid.

The Leon Island source says that when Chameleon reached home and looked at the watch critically he discovered that it was fake. We hear that the singer was buying the watch for his house maid norah.
