Ugandans for the first time will be allowed to share housing units with Uganda police force officers after redevelopment of Nsambya, Kibuli and Naguru police barracks.
The Projects Manager of Uganda police Jim Mugunga have confirmed the development and said that the housing units to be shared have been built by police in partnership with the private developers.
The developers have started erecting high rise commercial and police estates on Naguru land, which is 58.9 hectares, Naguru and Nsambya Barracks.
Other police units to be redeveloped and when completed to be shared with the public include regional police training school Masindi, Wandegeya, Katwe, Kabalagala, Old Kampala, Kawempe, Entebbe and Jinja Road police stations.
