Over 16 journalists at Hot 100 FM radio owned by Kampala’s business tycoon, Isaac Mulindwa who is also the PAM Awards chief have quit in a period of less than five weeks, citing ill treatment at the workplace.
Some of the workers still working at the radio station have informed us that the way the staff members at Hot 100 FM are quitting is similar to the one written in the bible when Israelites walked from Egypt to Canaan.
We have been told that some of the workers who have quit the station include Racheal Kay, L. Benzo and Bryan Mckenzie among others. Some of the workers who have quit the station we have managed to interview say they have quit after disagreements with the management over salaries, and poor working conditions among others. Some of the workers who have quit Hot 100 FM we hear have joined New Vision Group’s X fm.
