Professor Mondo Kagonyera today Thursday was installed at MakerereUniversityas the university chancellor for the second in office.

Prof. Mondo was installed by the Vice President of Uganda, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, who was flanked by the education minister Jessica Alupo. The function was attended by the

acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Venansius Baryamureeba and his two deputies, deans of students, and students’ leaders and representatives from Kampala Capital City Authority.

Kagonyera was appointed by president Museveni on December 22^nd 2011 to run the topMakerereUniversity seat for the next four years.
