It has emerged that the government and statehouse is directly behind the lift between UTODA and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) over the management of Old and New taxi parks.

We have been told by the source in Statehouse that President Museveni and the government in general is not happy with UTODA so the need to have it out ofKampala.

A source well conversant with statehouse issues, information and policies told us that UTODA shifted from being pro ruling party (NRM) to in between.

We are told that state suspects that the time would come and UTODA supports opposition in open. And that would be a worst scenario for the ruling party. So President Museveni reportedly directed the Executive Director of KCCA Jenifer Musisi to terminate the administration of UTODA before its administration openly becomes anti NRM.
