The former president for the republic of Tanzania Al-Haj Ali Hassan Mwinyi is expected to be the chief guest of the upcoming 9th graduation ceremony for the Kampala University scheduled 1st March this year.

The Vice Chancellor of Kampala University Prof. Badru Katerega said that the Kampala University 9th graduation will bring high profiled dignitaries from all the East African member state, including Mwinyi.

The former Tanzania president will be accompanied by the former Tanzania first family.

Katerega says 2,048 grandaunds will be awarded degree and diploma certificates in various disciplines. He says of the 2,048 set to graduate, 57.9%are male while 42.1% female. Katerega says 74 graduands will be awarded master’s degrees in different disciplines.
