The Leader of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and Kumi RDC Mpimbaza Ashaka nearly staged a fist fight in Kumi on Saturday. Besigye had gone to Kumi for Activists for Change (A4C) rally and the RDC attempted to stop the rally from taking place.
Present were Hon. Eng Amuriat MP Humi County, Dr. Besigye, Salamu Musumba, Gen. Mugisha Muntu, Hon Kasiano Wadri, Hon, Florence Ibi, Hon. Dr. Epetit, Hon. Okupa, Hon Sasaga. Major Kazoora, Nandala Mafabi and Mike Mukula.
Then the RDC of Humi Mpimbaza Ashaka came and wanted to stop the rally. But Besigye and the people power was too big for the RDC to contain. Besigye then picked a microphone and told the people that RDC Ashaka was chased from Makerere University for cheating exams. The RDC jumped to grab the microphone from Besigye and the fight erupted. The RDC later left the rally very disappointed and went to report the fracas at the police.
