Effects of methamphetamine hydrochloride on human beings

 

Methamphetamine hydrochloride is one of the banned drugs across the world. It is an addictive stimulant drug that activates systems in peoples’ brain. But many people including Ugandans secretly use the drug. So today we have decided to bring to you the negative effects of methamphetamine hydrochloride on human beings, Walakira Nyanzi writes.

Doctors say that methamphetamine causes anorexia, hyperthermia, diaphoresis, restlessness, dry mouth, headache, hypertension, diarrhea, constipation, blurred vision and dizziness.

It also causes twitching, insomnia, euphoria, anxiety, alertness, concentration, increased libido, increased energy, increased self-esteem, self-confidence.

Other effects of methamphetamine are sociability, irritability, aggressiveness, psychosomatic disorders, delusions of grandiosity, hallucinations, excessive feelings of power and invincibility, paranoia, fatigue, depression and increased appetite.

Methamphetamine also has long term effects such as heart disease, amphetamine psychosis, anxiety and to some human beings the drug makes them so violent.
