Tullow Oil plc has launched the Tullow Group Scholarships scheme for academic year 2012/2013. The scheme is to be administered and managed in partnership with the British Council according to information fromBritainand atUKembassies.

We have been informed that Tullow scholarships will support postgraduate degree, technical training, and vocational studies.

The scholarships aim to support Ugandans to participate in the oil and gas industry and in other sectors that promote economic diversification.

The courses to be covered include Geosciences, Engineering, Agro based courses, forestry management, environmental, hospitality, tourism management, marine sciences, law, logistics, finance management and general business.
