Dangers and treatment of burkkit’s cancer

Today lets us inform you more about burkitt’s lymphoma. This type of cancer is very common in the age between 3-15. It affects the lymphatic system (tissue and organs that produce, store and carry lymphocytes, a type of white blood cells that fight infections).

This cancer is aggressive and spreads to other body parts other than the lymph nodes, although the chest and abdomen can be affected.

It presents with the swelling of the jaw, leading to loosening and falling out of teeth. Burkett’s lymphoma cancer affects ladies and children more than it does in men.

But it can be treated by chemotherapy. The disease is curable when detected early and it mainly affects people of low social economic status due to poor nutrition and poor hygiene as well as failure to treat malaria effectively.

Burkett’s lymphoma is spread by a virus called Epstein Barr virus and this virus is transmitted through faecal materials.
