Food poisoning: Its one of the most unpleasant and certainly potentially dangerous condition. A person’s body reacts to toxins produced by bacteria that contaminate food.
The most common type of food poisoning results from the bacteria of salmonella, campylobacter and staphylococcus.
The symptoms of food poisoning range from nausea, and overall body weakness. Fever and abdominal cramps to violent episodes of vomiting and diarrhea as the body tries to ride itself of the contaminated food.
The examples of food poisoning include staphylococcus: This occurs when foods have been handled by people with skin infections. The classic example is potato salad left out for along time at a picnic. The symptoms usually come on very quickly, with in 2-8 hours and usually begin to resolve with in 12 hours. The symptoms may include: severe nausea and vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, headache and fever.
