Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) is very much threatened by the reunion of the Democratic Party (DP) factions since it has been these divisions within DP that has been giving FDC mileage in Buganda.

This is because DP is strongly rooted in Buganda and FDC has been taking advantage of these divisions in DP to gain some political ground in the region more so by using some of the top DP leaders to work against their own fellow members in favour of FDC leader Kizza Besigye. Therefore this reunion is very much threatening to FDC party in general and its supporters at large.

It is said that if this reunion continues this means an automatic political death of FDC in the central region. Also remember that DP is highly considered as a Buganda region party.
