The force of this action is called blood pressure. The doctors say that when the pressure is too high, the arterial wall becomes distorted and it may narrow or thicken and an extra burden of stress is placed on the heart.
The causes of high blood pressure are a diet that’s high in fat, sugars and salts. Also use of alcohol or caffeine products and other stimulants like smoking, obesity, inactivity, pregnancy or use of birth-control pills, underlying medical disorders, heavy-metal poisoning causes high blood pressure, especially among women and old people in general.
