Uganda’s opposition leader, Col. Kiiza Besigye has shocked the world when he confirmed that the leaders of his own party, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) are corrupt.
Besigye says that no political party in Uganda is free from the element of corruption. Besigye says that all political parties in Uganda are not transparent and this is hindering the political development of the country.
“Thieves are not in government alone, even in my party FDC they are many,” Besigye says. But Besigye criticises the government for failing to curb the corruption yet it has the authority.
However sources in FDC have strongly condemned Besigye for having named his own party among the corrupt parties in Uganda.
