ALL roads lead to Kasese district for the nominations of Hon Winnie Kizza, the Opposition Chief Whip (FDC) in Uganda parliament.

The nominations are slated for Thursday next week. Our reporters in Kasese report that the political temperature is very high.

According to the programme Ms Kizza will be escorted to the nominations by the FDC president Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye. However the electoral commission has stopped Winnie Kiiza from holding a rally after nomination.

The police have heavily deployed in Kasese and many police trucks have been seen going to Kasese! But the opposition FDC claims that it will over come the government pressure.
