Uganda’s leader of opposition, Ms Winnie Kiiza (FDC) claims that president Museveni’s government is plotting to rig Kasese district woman MP by elections.

She says FDC is aware of the propensity to rig Kasese woman MP, intimidate, harrass, maim, and bribe voters.

But Ms Kiiza says that considering the high mobilization the opposition in kasese Woman MP race is doing, president Museveni’s plots to rig elections shall be overcome.

Addressing the press in Kasese town council today, Ms Kiiza said all the NRM’s hiccups won’t circumvent the people’s power through their undying zeal for change.

Ms Kiiza says FDC is determined to trounce NRM in Kasese district woman MP race. There are four candidates in the race. They are Winnie Kiiza, Betty Kayenzu, Rosemary Masiko (DP) and Rehema Muhindo (NRM).

Kasese woman MP seat became vacant after the high court nullified the election of Winnie Kiiza over election irregularities.
