‘The Uganda Besigye dreams to create’
By Walakira on July 30, 2012
Uganda’s main opposition leader, Col. Kiiza Besigye says that his dream is that one day his political party, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) will liberate Uganda from the bandages of corruption, injustices, imprisonment without trial, unemployment and poverty.
He says that his dream is to have Uganda prosper, administered by the State Systems based on the Constitution, rule of law, Human right Dignity, Equality and Freedom of speech and assembly.
Speaking to his cadres at the FDC villas in Najjanankumbi, Besigye said he desires to create a new Uganda with a clear doctrine of separation of power between the Executive, Parliament and Judiciary.
Besigye pledges to give media freedom, Independent Electoral Commission, and to order the electoral commission to be organising free and fair elections.
The colonel says in his leadership there would be no rigging votes and that any person/party rigging, irrespective of its number would be disqualified.
