Sections of Ugandans have started expressing fear that most valuable land in Uganda has been sold to Chinese, Indians, Italians and Americans.

The critics allege that in areas where there is oil underneath like in Tororo, Ssese Islands, Mabira forest, Namboole stadium, Nakasongola etc much of the land there is already sold to foreigners.

Mukono Municiplaity MP Betty Nambooze says that there is massive land grabbing in Tororo and Mukono by government officials and agents of Americans etc.

The said land grabbing is being done at a time when many Ugandans are busy in by-elections. Nambooze says it is better for all Ugandans to come out and defend their land interests.
