Uganda Muslim community members, especially those inKampalahave expressed disappointment over revelations that ill motivated people have been making sausages in pork and sell them in Muslim based communities like near mosques.

The ill motivated people have been selling these sausages made out of pork at a very low price in the process attracting many low income Muslim earners to access them.

The sausages were not only made out of pork but they were discovered to be poorly-processed and harmful to the health of people eating them.

The doctors inKampalatold us that the sausages were discovered to be containing bacteria like salmonella and E.coli. E.coli causes diarrhea, headache, nausea and vomiting and on the other hand salmonella may cause typhoid. The Executive Director of Kampala City Council Authority, Jeniffer Musisi has already asked the council to close down all businesses using pork in making sausages.
