NRM has come up with a new strategy in the upcoming MP by elections in Butambala constituency. This has come up following the number of MP election loses it has incurred in the recent by elections across the country.

Sources in NRM party tell us that they are technically planning to field two candidates one as a party flag bearer in the names of Faisal Kikulukunyu and the stubborn NRM iron lady, Aisha Kabanda as an independent candidate.

Strategically, the NRM is planning to use Aisha Kabanda, to do the dirty works in election campaigns since she is not going to be the NRM flag bearer in this by election. As an independent candidate, Aisha Kabanda is going to use all the state machinery including voter bribing, ballot stuffing, intimidation, using the Kiboko squad men, so that all the attention is drawn into her acts to let Faisal Kikulukunyu do his works smartly.

Because even if Aisha Kabanda messes up, she wont be the official NRM party parliamentary candidate. But all her works would be directly benefiting the party flag bearer.
