Mafabi disgraced in Tooro sub region
By Walakira on September 17, 2012
Leader of opposition in parliament who is also Budadiri west MP, Nathan Nandala Mafabi is currently in Tooro sub region from Kamwenge where he was last week courting the support of FDC delegates to vote him party president in November this year.
Mafabi assured the FDC delegates in Tooro that within the 20 months of his leadership as party president, he will make the party communication better by each district having a computer and a motor cycle to mobilize the district.
The MP cited his enviable mobilisation skills that helped him deliver the Elgon region to FDC in last general elections inUgandaand he asked the delegates to give him a chance to mobilise the entire country and establishing a strong and functional FDC structures that will take the party to state power in 2016.
Nandala told the delegates that if they vote him their party president in November 22 his bright ideas will be actualized since they have seen him as a tested mobiliser and administrator which qualities the party badly needs.
But some of the delegates frankly told him that he (Mafabi) can not be relied upon more than Maj. Gen. Muntu. The delegates told Mafabi that the outgoing party president Col. Kiiza Besigye has been a military man and he has done a tremendous work for the party so they need another military man (Muntu) to steer the party forward.
