It seems Pastor Iga of Abizaayo Church in Kawaala has started anti Islamic dark history.

Now all Muslims in Uganda and the world at large may hate pastor Iga for life because he stepped on the holy Quran with his foot.

 The Muslim leaders in Kawaala allege that the pastor stepped on the Holy Quran at Baseesa video hall in Bwaise.

It all begun and as usual, after sheikhs in a Muslim crusade asked the listeners to ask any question related to Islam. This is when Iga came forward and asked for the microphone claiming to ask a question about Islam.

He held the microphone and climbed the platform. Within a few seconds he said: “You Muslims claim that the Quran had powers to kill people for stepping on it, let me step on it too. By the time he finished the sentence, he had dropped the Holy Quran he was holding in his hands and quickly stepped on it.

The Sheikhs and regular Muslims in the audience fumed and immediately seized him.

The Muslims started beating him for death but they realized that if he is killed on their daawa event, all similar events might be banned in the future.

 At this moment some Sheikhs and police protected him from the dangerous objects like stones, metals and bricks but they could let the blows hit him for a lesson.

Finally the police made a safe way for him to safety from the angry Muslims. At a safe distance, Iga then shouted in Luganda that: “Kangende ku polisi mbaloope, ntino munkubye.”(Meaning that let me go to police station and report you Muslims for beating me).

On hearing this, two sheikhs rushed to the police before him since the Ugandan police usually consider who has reported the case first, who is most times believed innocent. On reaching the police station Iga had already filed a case that the Muslims had beaten him.

The sheikhs were asked whether they had really beaten Iga and they frankly said that: ‘Yes, we have beaten this man, how can he abuse our holy book (Quran) yet we respect his bible?”.

The police officer asked the sheikhs;”Do you know that we are arresting you for assault?’ The sheikhs said go ahead and do whatever you want but we are among those who beat him for that grave evil he did’.

The sheikhs were locked up in police cells and pastor Iga walked away freely. The Muslims so have declared the pastor as an enemy of Allah.
