With less than a fortnight to Ronald Mugula’s world title fight with Hungarian kick boxer Andras Nagy, the former says his motivation is the fact the country is celebrating 50 years independence this month.
The 27 year old says the fact that the fight is in the independence month motivates him not to bury the Ugandan flag.
Uganda celebrates her 50th independence on October 9 and four days later Mugula will go to the ring.
Mugula is the current European champion while Nagy holds the intercontinental title.
If he wins on October 13, the Ugandan will be the first world kickboxing champion after Moses Golola failed against Matte Szamboki on his first attempt.
