The petitioners  especially from mutukula boarder through Kasamba have said that Parliament of Uganda should avert a financial loss of 64 Million  Euros equivalent to close to 200 Billion worth of the Equipment and Blank ID cards sitting idle in an un-conducive and dust environment for more than two years deteriorating day by day and put the equipment to use and print the National identity cards.

They also want parliament to avert an impending law suit against government for unfulfilled contractual obligation and breach of contract for the delayed payments for German contractor Mulhelbauer.

The boarder communities  also  want the allocated 25 Billion shillings by parliament to the immigration department under the ministry of Internal Affairs be used for the renovation  of  the Uganda printing and Publishing  Company.

Kasamba says issuing National Identity Cards will be a gift for Ugandans as we celebrate 50 years of independence.

Kasamba says that  government  should speed up n the ID project because people close to the boarder use LC letters which are not recognized by other neighboring countries .
