The Forum for Democratic Change Secretary for mobilization who is vying for the party president seat Gen. Gregory Mugisha Muntu says that political parties in Uganda should build party internal democracy before they endorse candidates for national leadership
He said that FDC Party presidential campaigns and elections is a sign of democracy in the party which other political Parties should follow.
Muntu told journalists in Kampala that political parties which have failed to practice internal democracy should not vote into power.
Mugisha Muntu is one of the three party members who were nominated to contest on the post of FDC Presidency others includes
Tororo County MP Geoffrey Ekanya, Opposition leader in Parliament Nathan Nandala Mafabi.
The FDC party elections for the party president is expected in November this year to replace Dr. kiiza Besigye who asked to cut on his term of office and do other work.
