The member of parliament of Bukooli Islands has threatened to mobilize residents for a demonstration over attacks from crocodiles.

This follows an incident yesterday that left one resident killed by a crocodile.

Speaking to journalists, Okeyo Peter said the latest incident has raised the number of people killed by crocodiles this year to 16.

He says he has written to the Uganda wildlife Authority over the matter, which has said it is to respond next week.

He says if nothing is done to address the problem the residents will have nothing but to demonstrate.
