UK cites poison in Kyanjo’s illness

The UK specialized doctors have confirmed that Makindye West MP, Hussein Kyanjo is suffering from Dystonia, a neurological movement disorder, in which sustained muscle contractions cause twisting and repetitive movements or abnormal postures and difficulty in talking.

Kyanjo last month traveled to the UK for specialized treatment.  Although Kyanjo’s disorder may be hereditary or caused by physical trauma, infection, lead poisoning, and or reaction to pharmaceutical drugs, the doctors suspects that it was poisoning.

The sources at the UK based hospital told us that the specialised doctors are currently working to minimizing the symptoms of the MP’s disorder.

Born in 1960, Kyanjo, who is the only member of the Justice Forum Party in Uganda’s ninth Parliament, joined parliament in 2006, replacing veteran politician Nsubuga Nsambu of the Conservative Party (CP).

According to Kyanjo’s family members, he has been advised against speaking for more than five minutes at a go and entertaining many guests/phone calls.
