Information reaching intelligent offices in Kampala have it that the Police officers’ wives are planning massive armed protest in Kampala. The protest, if at all it takes place, would follow the first violent one the police officers wives staged in Kampala over poor living conditions in police barracks.

The police officers wives are accusing the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kale Kayihura of failing to fulfill his promise of improving on the life conditions in police barracks.
Kayihura promised the police officers’ wives when he met them in their first protest to: increase and pay on time salaries of their husbands, offer them improved housing, and give them stable Electricity supply.

The women told us that Kayihura only managed to supply yellow chicken to them and they are complaining for lack of places to rear the chicken as they stay in police uniports.
