The IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura confirms that in a bid to instill discipline among police officers in the forces, he has arrested Kabalagala DPC Francis Chemsto among other officers who are now are at the police profession standards unit under investigations.

According to the police chief, all the police officers implicated in the racket of protecting drug dealers in Kabalagala, Kansanga, Buziga, Bunga, Munyonyo, Gaba and nearby areas will have to face the laws that guide the forces.

The arrest of the officers come after the IGP received reports that the Chemsto and his officers have been aiding drug dealers in the area to execute their illegal acts in the areas mentioned above.
