Manufacturers plan to reduce unemployment

The chairman of the Uganda manufacturers association, UMA Amos Nzei is strongly decrying the increased unemployment burden in the country which he says they are laying strategies to address.

Speaking ahead to the 21st Uganda international trade show starting tomorrow at Lugogo show grounds, Nzei says that if they are to drastically reduce unemployment in the country, there will be a great helping hand needed from govt to the sector to grow and hence provide more jobs to Ugandans.

He also adds that all is ready for the trade show to kick off tomorrow with over 1200 registered exhibitor among them locals accounting for 637 and foreign exhibitors mounting to 329.
