The Electoral commission has issued the progamme for conducting the Parliamentary and Local Government Council Elections in Bukanga County Constituency, Isingiro District.

Insingiro district MP seat fell vacant on September, 2013 after the untimely demise of the then Mp Hon. Gregory Matovu.

As required by law, the statutory deadline for conducting a by-election for an MP is sixty (60) days after the occurrence of a vacancy.

According to the programme Campaigns shall be held for 17 days effective 8th – 24th November 2013 while voting will take place on Tuesday 26th November 2013, at all polling stations in Bukanga County Constituency, Isingiro District.
