Museveni vows to punish senior UPDF officers over mismanagement of resources

 

 

President Museveni has vowed to punish all UPDF officers who went to Somalia and turned on mismanagement of the money meant to feed soldiers. Some of the soldiers Museveni vows to punish include Brig. Michael Ondoga, who is the head of Ugandan unit of military operations in Mogadishu.

The president, according to sources in statehouse, accuses Ondoga and other UPDF soldiers for underfeeding UPDF soldiers, and selling fuel meant for army operations to companies in Mogadishu.

Museveni, according to sources, says he is going to start using junior soldiers to spy on the so called military generals.

Museveni is also investigating why these soldiers many soldiers are disserting UPDF and resort to private businesses.
