About 300 bodies of Ugandans are stranded in China over lack of transport/government support to bring them home for burial.  Most of these bodies are for Ugandan girls who went to China to trade their bodies and do domestic work… Impeccable sources and Ugandans in China told us that many of these Ugandans are raped and killed, killed in robbery as China these days is not a joke and a few others die of natural causes.

For example there is an old lady whose grand daughter, Identified as only Jane died in China some months back. But her family has failed to get the body back home.

Her family needs 55 million Uganda shillings to transport the body back to Uganda. Many of these dead Ugandans whose bodies are stranded in China were the only bread winners for their families in Uganda.

Neither the Consulate in China nor the Ugandan community in China has helped to bring these bodies back home to receive decent burial. But the question is: When will African governments help their people? Your answers are the same as ours.

It should also be remembered that recently the family of a prominent Ugandan, Major Itongwa failed to raise 40 Million Uganda shillings to bring his body home and his body was burnt in Belgium.
