UGANDANS ADVISED TO SET FOR ECLIPSE OVER 10,000 FOREIGNERS COMING
The tourism minister confirms that over 10,000 foreigners are coming into the country to have a clear view of the eclipse that is set to occur on 3rd of November this year and the minister, Maria Mutagamba confirms that the best viewing site will be in the westnile district of Packwach.
The solar eclipse is an extra ordinary geographical phenomenon of the movement of the solar system that is the moon shields the sun and creates a temporary darkness but the significance of this occurrence is that it last occurred in march 16th 1466 and the next one is for june 3rd 2114.
However, the geologist, Makumbi advises people not to temp to see the eclipse with their naked eyes.
