FDC is an academy of NRM, says Mao

It seems opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) is an academy of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) because people freely cross from the ruling party to FDC and freely from FDC back to their mother party NRM.

A case in point is Major Rubaramira Ruranga who on Thursday crossed from FDC back to NRM where he came from. We should also not forget late Eriya Kategaya and late John Butime. These two gentlemen, defected to FDC from NRM and after time passed by they went back to NRM.

The disgruntled cadres of NRM run to FDC and when they settle their differences they go back to NRM. Indeed a source in NRM told this reporter at statehouse yesterday that NRM government has many people in FDC than in any other opposition political party. This makes me to remember what the Democratic Party (DP) president Norbert Mao recently talked of FDC.

News sources quoted Mao as saying that FDC stands for “Forum for Disgruntled Cadres.” It can further be remembered that once the former member of FDC, Betty Kamya described FDC as “NRM B.”
