The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has invited president Museveni to grace the Annual Buganda conference 2013. The sources told us that the Kabaka has also invited Col. Kiiza Besigye, Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu.

This year’s Buganda conference will take place on 18th December which will be a pre-conference for the youth and on 19th December for the main conference. The venue will be at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

As usual the main conference will be opened by Her Royal majesty the wife of Kabaka Mutebi, Nabagereka Sylivia Naginda and will be officially closed by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda.

Annually the Baganda living in Buganda and diaspora gather to brainstorm on the main tenent of belonging, inculcation,  culture, development, prosperity and continuity of the over 800 years old kingdom. The Kabaka also allows non Baganda, academicians and politicians to participate in the annual conference.
