Former president General of opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Dr. Col. Kizza Besigye has said that there is no doubt about it FDC shall miss Major Rubaramira Ruranga.

Major Rubaramira Ruranga defected to Uganda’s ruling party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) on Thursday last week after meeting with president Museveni at his home in Rwakitura.

Besigye says that Rubaramira had staged a good fight against NRM although he has failed to complete the fight.

Rubaramira says he chose to rejoin NRM because of the infighting in FDC and NRM’s efforts to eradicate HIV. Rubaramira is HIV positive.
