There are four main known sets of sinuses and they are all paired according to medicals doctors at Oxford University.
The sets of sinuses are MAXILLARY SINUSES ….these are the largest sinuses, also the ones that most commonly are affected when a person has sinusitis.
Above your eyes, either side of your forehead (THE FRONTAL SINUSES). There is also behind the bridge of your nose, between your eyes (ETHMOID SINUSES). They can also be broken down into anterior and posterior – front and back. Then lastly there is SPHENOID SINUSES- these are between the upper part of your nose and behind your eyes.
