President Museveni, whom the opposition in Uganda calls a dictator, is a genius, because if he was a fool, he wouldn’t have ruled Uganda for 27 years and still continuing.
But the East African Community, the regional block in which Uganda falls is on the verge of collapse. President Museveni, Gen. Paul Kagame of Rwanda and Kenyatta Uhuru are ganging up against their Tanzanian counterpart, President Kikwete and side-lining Tanzania from the East African Community (EAC) major decision making process like setting up a Single Visa, Railway construction.
The EAC meetings on a Single Visa and Railway construction ….ended on Tuesday in Kigali which was attended by Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and South Sudan.
The EAC regional crisis stem from Tanzania’s agreement to send its troops to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) under MONUSCO to fight against president Museveni-Kagame’s M23 Rebel group. In East Africa, it is only Tanzania that sent soldiers to DR Congo to help President Joseph Kabila’s government to defeat M23 Rebels.
