With over 75% boda boda riders not owning motorcycles that they ride in the country and only work for daily ends meet, centenary bank and Vermaco company one of the leading motorcycle distributors in the country have partnered to extend their clients soft loans payable in two years that will see them buy motorcycles.
Speaking at a joint press conference today in Kampala, the general manager business development and marketing at centenary bank, Beatrice Kacwamba reveals that over 200 youth will access the loans in case they hold accounts with the bank.
However, the business development manager Verma company, Medi Mwiri mentions that many youth need to acquire their own bikes .
Boda boda riders dreams have been hampered by insufficient capital to buy their own boda bodas which has compelled the company to enter into this partnership to make life easy for their clients across the country
