Former Uganda Intelligence Coordinator, Gen. David Sejusa and his family members suspect that the central government was behind the death of his younger brother Dan. Mutungi. The government claims that Sejusa’s brother committed suicide but Sejusa and his family members say that it seems someone in government killed Dan and threw his body in a valley Dam in Sembabule.

The Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Director, Grace Akullo, however says Sejusa and his relatives should give police a chance to establish Dan’s cause of death.

There are three theories which all try to explain Dan’s death. The first one is that he committed suicide. The second and third one is that he poisoned himself, which did not react faster than he wished thus prompting him to run to the valley dam of his father in Bweyale village in Lugusulu, Sembabule District. Irrespective of the different theories, they all come to a conclusion that Dan Mutungi died on Friday evening.
