Ugandans liken Museven to Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s trial has been adjourned until January 2014. He is accused of “inciting violence” just as Yusuf Lule did in 1979 during “the famous Uganda history of ‘no Lule, no work’ demonstrations.” If President Morsi is convicted, he faces a death penalty!
All these forms of injustices, that Morsi is being accused of, including the arrests, imprisonment, excessive force, teargas which have been also used on Uganda’s freedom fighters and human rights campaigners, reminds me of Jim Reeves song, “This world is not my home…”
The song is a nice one to be dedicated to all disenfranchised people in Uganda and Africa. The song goes “This world is not my home I’m just passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door…
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore
Oh Lord you know I have no friend like you
If heaven’s not my home then Lord what will I do
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.”
