Corruption: KCCA councilors got 25 millions each to impeach Lukwago

Justice Bamugemereire has been instructed reportedly by someone above him to release the Tribunal Report which the government has been tinkering with for several months.
The Report will be handed over to Kampala Minister, Frank Tumwebaze between 13th and 15th November 2013 at a press conference at the media centre in Kampala. According to sources, on that same occasion the minister will announce a date for the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) council Meeting, which shall be between 20th and 25th November 2013 to move the impeachment motion of the Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.

We hear arrangements have been finalised for each KCCA Councilor to be given USD.10,000 (Uganda shillings 25 Millions) which they demanded for to support the motion against Lukwago.

Interestingly, Lukwago’s constitutional cause for injunctive orders which was filed way back in September 2013 by Lukwago is yet to be fixed plus his incessant movements and appearances before the Registrar notwithstanding.

Lukwago says he will inevitably continue to resolutely defend the will of the people of Uganda who elected him into office, but assured President Museveni and his proxies that he was prepared for a by-election and rest assured his mandate shall be renewed.

He further urged President Museveni and his team to prepare their candidate for a show down.
