Our health news editor Walakira Nyanzi has spent much of his time as a journalist reading widely on the causes, treatment of cancer and the best ways to avoid cancer. According to this journalist, Uganda is not soon winning a war against cancer spread. Cancer spread and death has remained unchanged in the last decade. Traditional and modern cancer treatment is still a failure. The government of president Museveni has equally done little on cancer treatment.

However, pharmacies and cancer drug companies are the winners in cancer fight as they collect billions of US dollars from cancer patients.
