Jobs: Total to train and employ 2000 graduates from Makerere University

 

The visiting senior vice-president of Total Africa and the Middle East, Momar Ngeur has arrived in Kampala today. Ngeur, a native West African will on Wednesday conduct a professional career guidance talk to staff and Makerere University students.

Speaking under the theme ‘Why I believe in Africa,’ Ngeur will address students and staff of Makerere University on matters relating to career development, inspire them to continue believing in Africa, boost African development agenda,  human capital development, transport accident mitigation measures and Road transportation accidents among others.

Ngeur has spent most of his job career at Total branches in France and Africa. He will also attend a transport convention at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. The management of Total told us that the oil company has a programme, where it identifies graduates, trains and employs them across Africa.

Total imports over 15 million tons of petroleum products to Uganda per annum.
